"Melody Code Rally (新宿ミナミルミ 2023 メロディコード®©ラリー)" is a collaborative project developed in partnership with iXOS company. This system was specifically designed for 新宿ミナミルミ (Shinjuku-Minamillumi), a winter illumination event around Tokyo's Shinjuku station.
  The app listens to simple melodies played amidst background music (BGM) and estimates the user's location based on the melody detected. This unique communication method, utilizing melodies, was pioneered by Mr. Kiyoshi Miyaura.
The melodies are generated by the software synthesizer library described here.
